Is DermaGO secure?
Absolutely. We take patient security very seriously. As such, we offer the most secure internet platform to
protect your personal information.
Does the consultation include a call with the doctor?
Exchanges with DermaGO's dermatologist are done via our secure messaging service.
The patient can therefore ask all his questions directly to the doctor via this messaging service.
It is therefore not necessary to use the telephone as a means of communication.
Does Dermago treat every conditions?
Tele-Dermatology is not appropriate for any problem that requires physical examination.
We strongly advise "in person" consultation for the following ailment:

I have a problem with a mole, can Dermago help?
To evaluate a mole, a dermoscope is required. This tool must be operated in the presence of both the patient
and the doctor. That's why we recommend "in person" consultation for any situation involving a mole.
Does my registration as well as my payment on DermaGO guarantee me an appointment in person?
DermaGO is a 100% virtual private dermatology clinic. Therefore, we do not have a physical point of service.
Your registration and payment covers the deposit of the diagnosis and a treatment plan if necessary.
What is the consultation cost and how does it work?
"We offer 2 possibilities to our patients. People in a hurry can use the service in 24hrs for 199$.
Or, the 7 days option cost 129$.
The consultation process is very simple. You must create a file, answer specific questions and submit photos.
Depending on the option chosen, the DermaGO dermatologist will come back to you with a diagnosis and a prescription (if applicable) within the prescribed time frame."
Will it be possible to exchange messages with the dermatologist?
Absolutely! When the doctor places his diagnosis in your file, a secure messaging system is activated.
You will be able to ask all your questions directly to the doctor and even add more pictures.
What is included in the price of the consultation?
The consultation includes the diagnosis, the conversation with the doctor and the prescription if necessary.
Will a receipt be issued following the payment of my consultation?
DermaGO issues eligible receipts from most insurance companies. This receipt is sent automatically on the email that has been put in the patient's file.
It is possible that this email may be found in your junk mail, don't forget to look at it!
How do I use DermaGO?
Click on “Consultation” for your initial registration. Once your profile is created, you simply have to follow
the instructions to submit your case to a dermatologist.

How can I take high quality pictures for my case?
To offer the best service, the dermatologists need to assess high quality pictures of the problem in question.
As you submit your case, there is a guide that will help you take high quality pictures.
Why does DermaGO need my health insurance number?
The health insurance card is essential to prove your idendity and to make sure that you are a Canadian citizen.
Can I receive a prescription from a DermaGO dermatologist?
If the DermaGO dermatologist deems it necessary to prescribe a medication, the prescription will be sent to your
pharmacy.
Why do I need a file to utilise your services?
With regards to the physician-patient relationship, documentation is essential. There is no exception with
DermaGO as it is a service that provides high quality care to the population. Your file will allow us to develop
a better understanding of your health issues and provide appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans. As mandated
by the college of physicians, your file will be conserved for 5 years.
How can I pay for the services rendered?
VISA or mastercard.
What is DermaGO refund policy ?
DermaGO will reimburse the consultation if your request is sent to [email protected] within 24 hours of the
payment or before the doctor answers your case. The overriding criterion is the physician's response. When he
has answered you, it will no longer be possible to cancel or be refunded. Check your email box to find out when
your request has been answered. If the prescribed time is not respected, the consultation will be refunded)
Does my consultation guarantee a follow-up appointment with a
dermatologist?
No. DermaGO is an online service only. If a follow-up is necessary, the dermatologist will send you a
consultation to see a doctor near you.
What happens if I do not get a response within the time frame expected?
We are committed to responding to your request within the chosen deadlines. If this is not the case, we will
refund you.
What should I do if my problem is not resolved?
DermaGO offers a service based on high resolution pictures and information provided by the patient. This does
not replace an in-person consultation. If you are not fully satisfied or the problem persists, please consult a
physician.
How does DermaGO protect my personal information?
DermaGO specifically utilizes protocol SSL V3 in order to secure patient information. we take great pride in
ensuring patient confidentiality. We will NEVER sell your information. However, your medical information can be
shared between partners in order to offer appropriate continuity of care. Please see our security and
confidentiality policy for more details.
How can I obtain a copy of my medical file at DermaGO?
You can consult your file at any time from the main page of your account. please contact us if you wish to
obtain a paper copy of your file.
Can my insurance provider cover the services rendered by DermaGO?
We are working on securing partnerships with different insurance providers. Please contact your insurer for more
information.
